Yes. Travel in Death Valley and other desert areas are not allowed during the hot months. Also, vehicles are not allowed on logging or other non-public roads. You are responsible for all road hazard damage so be careful.

Motor homes handle much like a car, especially the "C" class which has a van chassis. When you rent the vehicle you will receive an orientation and a drive around the block to show you how they work.

There is no legal limit and there is no seat law governing the use of seat belts in any part of the coach beside the front seats, which requires belts. All motor homes come with seat belts on the dinette and the couch if so equipped, we recommend they be used. We also recommend the following:
Never exceed the maximum capacity as posted in each individual vehicle. Minimum capacity includes the vehicle, all fluids, all occupants and gear.
All passengers should use the provided seat belts. The total number of seat belts will vary according to each vehicle and its floor plan.
Child safety seats should be used where applicable. The installation and use of these seats should follow the recommendation of the child seat manufacturer.
Overhead areas designed only for sleeping should not be occupied while the vehicle is in motion.
The vehicle should be properly secured prior to travel. This includes locking the doors and dead-bolting them where applicable. Stow the entry step and secure the outside compartments.
We expect that you will use good judgment and prudence in your decisions.

Because these units are not stationary, just like automobile rentals, the day of pick up is considered the first day of rental.
